I sure am pretty greedy when it comes to cutting up logs especially when it’s so hard to move them around So I normally do something called line sawing or your typical live edge sawing until the blade gets down past where the bunks are at and the log will start to shift a bit if you have the round side down so I will normally flip it once I have a nice level edge on the bottom and then I’ll flip it over and then just cut it through and through then I have to edge it
Remember I really don’t know what I’m doing and I’m learning this as I go but it’s kind of how these things go.
